Carrier RTU Question
I am going to look at a Carrier 48TCED14A3A5-0A0A0 tomorrow. The issue is apparently the compressor is coming on and going off on high pressure continuously but no outdoor or indoor fan is coming on a cooling call. I haven't looked at it yet so I was hoping that someone here may have ran into this issue on this particular unit and could tell me a couple of things to look for before I climb up there. I find it kind of weird that both indoor and outdoor fans aren't coming on. Thanks!

Might be 2 different issues. Not much to those units. If I had to go out on a limb, I'd bet you have issues with overheated/melted wiring
Officially, Down for the count
YOU HAVE TO GET OFF YOUR ASS TO GET ON YOUR FEET
I know enough to know, I don't know enough
Why is it that those who complain the most contribute the least?
MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS. POVERTY CAN'T BUY ANYTHING

I didn't think there's much to it. I mostly see Yorks around here.

Not sure about the new units but the older ones if y2 was energized on the board the compressor would start. No indoor fan no condenser fans. Y1 would start the condenser fans. Indoor fans wont run without g energized.

Let's assume that this is a no cooling call.
How do you know the information stated above? Was there another tech from your co? A building maintenance guy?
I am never handed info like that before I go to a call, so I am curious about the dynamic.....

Went back the next day and it was running fine. I'm not sure what was going on but as of now it's operating normally.

If there is a smoke detector connected to the board SD terminals, that's your answer.
