First of all, I Love this Site!
I've been a DDC Tech now for 6 years, primarily with Siemens.
My situation: I've a residence that's getting a full DDC control system for the HVAC (Insight & the works!). The Siemens Series 1000 sensors have a slide bar that can be a little annoying to use as 1 click can be a 1.5-2°F change. So, I try a (new) QFM sensor. Problem is those start as a %RH sensor (base) with features added on from there (display, temp, setpoint, override). The reason for checking into that was the QFM series has the option of push button temp control vs. analog slide bar. The series 2000 sensors are only for TEC's & I'm using PXC's so that option is out.
What I'm trying to find is a room sensor with display, setpoint and run off 24VDC, all using a 0-10VDC signal back to the board.
Any suggestions? Kele & Grainger didn't have anything that I could see.
Thanks!!!
Ken
I believe that the 2000 series is also available for the MBC or UC.
These are base on a 1000 ohm (TC375) sensing element.
The PXC supports this.
There are also versions with 4-20mA outputs, which work well.
Also, The Staefa 10K thermistor based sensors work great with the PXC.
Viconix (as well as others, I'm sure) will make room sensors that will work with the PXC.
The PXC supports Pt1000 ohm (375 or 385 temp. coef.), 10k (or 100k) thermistor (type II)1000 ohm Nickel (tk5000) Vin or 4-20mA in.
See if this works for you.

Question for you.
If this house has all of this, it must be quite swanky. What about the aesthetics of the sensor? Doesn't this have to look good?
I looked at the controller in question and it seems that you have a lot of options. Is the problem that it's difficult to buy products outside of the Siemen's branch?

Yes, the house is VERY swanky. This guy was one of the lawyers that won the lawsuits against the "Big Tobacco" companies. This guy has more $$$ than Carter has peanuts (for the +30 crowd).
Purchasing outside of Siemens is no problem. I have the flexibility to purchase most anything. We're a Siemens vendor & I can purchase from them with a greater discount than any other supplier. Just because this guy is rich beyond my comprehension that doesn't mean that I have a blank check to spend all I want.
Yes, aesthetics are very important. I met with the mech. engineer to determine room sensor locations. He just looked at the designers less than 3 seconds after I asked HIM where the t'stat belonged and asked them same question. After the 3rd time, I just talked to them directly.
As for how swanky this is: air cooled chiller, boiler, 4 pipe system. The attics & the crawl space under the house are climatized. The doghouse is bigger than my garage & has a dedicated 4-pipe FCU. In addition to the heated/cooled doghouse, Rover gets a pool. The Pool House (outdoor pool - no indoor sorry) has 3 LARGE flat screen TV's in the "guys room", indoor grilling (so you can BBQ even if it is raining), exercise room, the works.
In the event of an emergency, the entire house will be supplied by a generator designed as 2x's the max design load of the house. The generator is encased by a super-duper, super-quiet housing. On top of that, it has a "house" of its own.
Yep, swanky.
