    carrier infinity systems

Have a house that has 8 infinity systems, last summer all units at somepoint or another have errors for brown outs. homeowner had 3 phase power brought to house so all units have approx. 208-211 volts. havent been there when any unit shut down but when i ran all units at once i didnt see any voltage drop below 208 volts. carrier insists units will work til 187 volts. house is only 2 years old, in october carrier had me change all condenser control boards they say are more forgiving to lower voltage. its going to start getting warm so i know there is going to be more problems with brown outs. so has anyone else had this problem?

On the infinity stuff there are many nuisance errors. Just shutting off the od unit breaker will generate an error message. if there is not an operational problem they are just logs of everyday problems like every other unit has.
    I wish I had a $1.00 for every response I deleted.....

You have some power problems at the house. Somebody probably didn't do their job sizing the house or not enough power in the area. Infinity/Evolution doesn't like anything out of the ordinary. Not very forgiving in my experience. Try surge protectors on the equipment and house in general. You probably won't get them to admit it, but I'll bet you a dollar they have problems with other appliances and electronics as well.
I like DIY'ers. They pay better to fix.

Back UPS. I think they clean as well as providing power for short brow/black outs. Seems house like that would have solar or generator.
