I don't mind doing this... that's why I am here, to provide service to the members.

It will also take a load off of the Membership Committee.

BUT>>> I will go to the MC or to you guys if I question converting a guest to a Pro.

    thx

I am not a chiller guy... just a lowly resi guy... however here is my

H-talk is a PROFESSIONAL site, that allows guests. As such, we should IMO be catering to professional interests. Having a forum for a specific area of HVAC, that carries a non formal limitation due to the DIY rule... is kinda a double standard IMO.

I think ALL forums that deal with technical material should be in the Pro section.... as this serves the folks this entire site is here to serve.

OK, that was my $0.02 worth.

They normally send new pro changes to me every weekend. If you sent in your application within the last few weeks then it wont be long.

Is it me or is this a bit like " I'm alright Jack, pull up the ladder"?
Going Pro is great for regular site users but us casual users will miss out. I've 23 years at Trane and have worked on everything from splits to absorption to controls, but don't post regularly because you guys already have all the answers! My vote's for both, at least I might make it pro one day.
