    Thermostat Training Resource

Can anyone point me in the direction to some good training on Tstat replacement? I am running a program where we will have electricians doing some wiring and then replacing the Tstat in customers homes. I need some good general training materials.

    Any help is appreciated.

It is like MOST companies use RED for the 24v supply, but company B uses WHITE just to discourage OTHER companies from working on THEIR equipment.
Then UNCLE JOE does NOT care what color goes on what terminal and hooks them up any old way.
NOW how are you going to train an electrician to determine who and how the THERMOSTAT was hooket up?

    thermostats come with wiring diagramns.
a electrician should be able to figure them out.

If all else fails try using the install manuals.

Where controls are concerned I always tell the electricians to go ahead and run the wires but I'll terminate. They usually look relieved.
The other problem even with them running the wire, often it ends up #12.
Give me a relay with big enough contacts, and I'll run the world!
