Ya think it needed a new impeller?

First time trying to attach an image so hope this works.

I replaced the pump impeller recently on an Insinger door-type dish machine. The old impeller was worn so badly that the impeller blade seperated from the hub. Hard to believe water would do that to cast metal. The effects of erosion in fast-forward.

The picture is the new impeller next to the old one.
