    D896 Honeywell vent damper

    Morning, I am working on a boiler which has an old D896 Honeywell automatic vent damper. The molex connector on the board is very loose (see pic) and to keep the normal operation you have to apply pressure on the plug going into the board by zip tying the plug to the side. I can not find another board anywhere. Another tech remove the pin/arrow, which turns the damper open/closed, years ago so its no issue with draft out. I know there were issues with D80s and D896 vent dampers. Does anyone know how to bypass this?

    I think that was replace it with Honeywell D80B and they are available, You have to think about everything the reason of operation
