Anybody here working in Phoenix Arizona ?

If so; what is the name of your company or the company you work for?

Of course not. Thankfully, as I have to reply on the kindness of others for some things; there are those like yourself to graciously help me past my own mindlessness. <g>

Yes; now I have. None of the five listings are for companies.

And so far as my limited abilities go - no contact information is available.

I wanted to refer someone there to a company here who does HVAC work in that area.

I’m visiting in-laws/vacationing in Phoenix at the moment. Does that count?

I don’t have work connections here, and these guys all seem to work weird hours. Sometimes I see trucks on the road earlier in the morning, but I seldom see a mechanical contractor truck after noon????

I’m a Training Coordinator in Phoenix. Are you looking for something specifically?

Bel-Aire Mechanical is a Union MP with a Service Dept. I believe they are now the largest HVAC Dept/Contractor in the state. Trane Building Services (non-union) is also pretty big. Comfort Systems USA Service side is big too. Johnson Controls was a major player a few years ago. A lot of Light Commercial HVAC shops with 10 to 30 Techs.

There’s like 6 crazy-big Residential HVAC companies, doing about $100M/Yr!

On the Refrigeration side, Hussmann or Source/CoolSys are the top dogs. There’s plenty of Light Commercial Refrig. shops with 5 to 15 Techs.

Yes, I said 6 companies doing Residential AC doing approximately $100M/Yr. One of those 6 hit $150M in 2020.

The only problem with those companies are that they're so big, that once this time of year comes around, they either let you go or you stay home and wait to hope to get a call that you have a job. Seniority comes first.

I’ve met guys from all those companies George Brazil, Patrick Riley, Geottl, Parker and Sons, Howard, Penguin, etc. and I doN’T think I’ve seen the same guy twice. There’s so many of them.

I’ve never heard of that company. I’ve been thru there over 100 times. Rim County Mechanical is there for sure.

That isn't a company. It is an old name from this forum.
