Who hear is seeing the value / shift to electrification?

If you mean to get off fossil fuels and move to heat pumps, I am all in.

I can see the future where 50% or more of electricity is being produced by renewable sources.

Right now some states have mandates to produce a certain amount of electric from renewable sources.

I think in California all new houses have to have solar. This should cut down on the green house gases produced.

I wonder if coal is really worse than the chemicals that are used to produce many of these green technologies. I will probably never know for sure.

Nothing wrong per se, but may be a less stable asset as renewables get cheaper. There’s also difficulty finding low output models for tight homes, although some manufacturers are starting to make some low output models.

I agree with the output problem. I have never seen a heater that ran for any length of time to maintain temp during our coldest weather.

The greenhouse gases produced to make these renewable energy sources are crazy.

Im all for renewable energy if it makes sense.

Wind still needs oil to work
Solar panels are dirty
Lithium is dirty
Oil doesn't hurt the ozone
NG is pretty clean and there is plenty of it

Trane I know has a 26k (or something close) and icp has a 26k.

I believe they only have those in single stage thus far and not variable capacity. Those still are 40k.

The problem I have had with renewable energy is you can push technology but you can't force it. Some day the world will have to have vast quantities of renewable energy and we should work in that direction. The dishonest media tries to make it look like we have to have it all now and that isn't true.

Follow the money....... just that simple. You need an example, look at California. Sad.
