The Social Media Mastermind
Hey guys, I've been going around online spaces on facebook and forums and have seen a lot of scammy, BS type of stuff for Social Media Marketing. When in reality, it shouldn't be. I started this thread for everyone who is interested in taking their biz to the next level with social media but doesn't know where to begin.
I'll be updating this thread with new content a few times a week for you guys and hopefully it gains some traction, and you guys make some more money off of what I'm saying! That's the main goal always!
Here we goooo!
5 ACTIONABLE STRATEGIES YOU CAN IMPLEMENT TO GET YOU MORE CLIENTS!
Alright guys, let’s get down to it! I’ve been hearing a bunch of B**LS**T going on in these spaces about advertising on Facebook! I’m here to bring some clarity to guys who actually want to use Facebook/Instagram the RIGHT way and continue to grow their businesses. So here it is, 5 strategies that can actually lead you to getting more clients! No fluff here!
#1 Optimize Your Facebook Page!
Make it look professional and clean.
Make your profile picture an HD pic of your logo
Make your header something cool and professional looking - A picture of your HVAC trucks or a small video of you doing some work. Something eye-catching that looks clean on the page.
Write out your About Us page, Write a short description about what you do for “Page Info”
Facebook actually does a good job of helping you set up your page fully. They’ll have a list of steps that you have to follow to complete your page! Just follow it!
#2 Post. Post. Post!
You need to start posting so that your audience sees that your active on social media. Posting will help past customers stay up to date with your brand and allow potential customers to look through your posts! Don’t know what to post? Keep reading!
Happy clients - Pictures of you standing with a satisfied customer. For example, you just installed a new AC for a residential property. They love it and are satisfied. Stand in front of the AC and take a quick picture with the homeowner and make the caption something like “Just installed a new AC Unit for John! It’s ready to go and he loves it! Thanks for choosing us!”
Testimonials - Get your clients/customers to leave you reviews! There’s a review section for every business on facebook. They can write something short and sweet about how you helped them out.
Holiday deals - you can do special promos and coupons for holiday specials! For example, $100 off this Christmas season for a heater/AC install.
Holiday celebrations - post for Christmas, thanksgiving, New Years, etc.
Giveaways/sweepstakes - This can be great to expand your reach on social media. You can do a giveaway for anything! Could be a gift card, an iPad, a drone, etc. Have people tag 2 friends, like the post, and like the page to enter!
Add some personality in your posts! - Make them funny, interesting, and cool. Add your own personality into the posts to make your brand YOURS.
#3 Set up Facebook pixel!
This is VERY important for anyone trying to advertise on facebook.
This code allows the pixel to receive information about the actions taken on your site to make your Facebook ads more relevant to your audience. It also tracks your audience and helps you find out more about them, so that you can target them better and more efficiently on facebook!
You can learn how to do it step by step by typing in "How to set up Facebook Pixel" on Google!
#4 Dont just Boost posts!! Use Ads Manager!
I’ve seen so countless people see the “Boost Post” button and think that they are advertising effectively. You’re not! Boosting posts is probably the worst way to run ads on Facebook. To be honest, I don’t even know why they added the function! Ads Manager is 100x better and I’ll explain why.
When boosting posts, you can’t specifically target the demographics, locations, and behaviors of potential customers that you want. Using Ads Manager, we can be more surgical in our approach to advertising. It makes a HUGE difference!
#5 Test test and test some more!!
With many people that I work with, they’ll get upset or question everything. “I just spent $10 on this ad Faizan!!! Why didn’t I get any leads!!!!!”
Maybe the targeting was off, maybe the caption didn’t resonate with the viewers, it could be hundreds of things. But, the best marketers know, you must TEST EVERYTHING!
In a perfect world, we’d know exactly what works right from the start, but we don’t. We are taking educated guesses and filtering out what doesn’t work, and scaling what does! It takes time to put together profitable campaigns.
But when they take off...they TAKE OFF and you make a fat ROI! That’s the beauty of facebook ads.
So there it is guys. It took me a little time to write it up so I hope you got something out of it. If you have any questions, you can just comment below and I'll answer!
Would love to get a full blown discussion going on in this thread so I can clear up as much as I can.

I'm feeling a back-to-back thread because I already posted that one^^^ but, I decided to just start a new thread! Double Value for you guys today!!
Alright guys, let’s get into it!
I’m gonna start just building a thread of value for HVAC owners to just get a better understanding on how to better utilize social media to get more paying customers.
Today, I’ll go in depth into the kind of stuff you should post on your platforms to get more eyes on it! More eyes on the brand = more potential customers!
Here’s the thing though, people don’t want to be sold to. They want to make the decision on their own to buy, this is why we will sell and post promos on our pages, but only around every seventh post to keep the content fresh!
Let’s gooo!
#1 Company Coupons
You can post company coupons with $ off or a % off for a service that you offer with an expiration date! This gives your viewers a little kick in the butt to call you and get your services done if they were interested in the first place.
#2 Services Offered
Post about all the different types of services that you guys offer. Inspection, cleaning, installation, removal, etc. You can post a little video or pictures of different projects you have done for each service. This’ll give the audience a sneak peek into what you do and even the outcomes of the projects you complete!
#3 Company Ads
If your business runs any ads on Tv, billboards, newspapers, yelp, etc. Post them on your Facebook pages! This gives you more credibility and the audience gets to see that you’re more than just any other HVAC company, you’ve spent money to push your brand and people will see you as professional!
#4 Company Videos
You can take advantage of people’s love for videos by creating your own! Do Before/After vids, In-Process of a job videos, and even videos of you talking to your customers after completing a job! This’ll take your business to the next level and show your transparent, professional, and get the job done!
#5 Removal of Old Equipment
If you remove some ancient equipment from your customers home, post pics of it! Include the age and estimate the amount of energy that the homeowner will save each year from the removal and installation of new equipment!
There you have it. 5 things you can start doing TODAY to boost your social media presence and start attracting more customers!

This seems like spam but for the benefit of the old farts hanging around here Facebook and social media stuff work great and if you aren't on it get on it. If you are on it splurge a bit for the advertising. Dollar for dollar social media advertising targeted properly is the best money you will ever spend.

I tried to make it as least spammy as I possibly could haha. Didn't self promote or add any links. Genuinely trying to help out. Glad you got some value out of it though. I'll be back with some more good stuff. I've seen and worked firsthand with people who've scaled to 7 figures using Social Media. Can't ignore it anymore in 2020!

Faizan, what is your background / profession. Your profile just says homeowner.
What is pixel?

I run my own digital marketing agency for HVAC owners. Had clients in the past who owned restaurants and dentist/ortho offices, now we've been working with HVAC guys/sub-contractors. Wanted to come to some online spaces and just share some stuff I've helped others with scaling their businesses using social media. If dentists and orthodontists can make 7-figures a year using facebook to scale, so can sub-contractors!
Also, a pixel is basically a tracker that facebook puts on your page and website. This tracker tracks everyone who goes on your site and page and follows them around the internet (I know, kinda creepy when I put it this way right!?) so that we can break down the types of people who interact with your stuff online. This allows us to put ads in front of those specific people to attract them. And even build out ads to people who are most likely to be like those people! Pretty interesting stuff. Basically, it's the foundation of social media marketing. And is the key component that helps us make decisions and track what we're doing.
This is the definition from Facebook.com (Not sure if I explained it well enough!)
The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take on your website.
You can use the pixel to:
Make sure your ads are shown to the right people. Find new customers, or people who have visited a specific page or taken a desired action on your website.
Drive more sales. Set up automatic bidding to reach people who are more likely to take an action you care about, like making a purchase.
Measure the results of your ads. Better understand the impact of your ads by measuring what happens when people see them.
Once you've set up the Facebook pixel, the pixel will fire when someone takes an action on your website. Examples of actions include adding an item to their shopping cart or making a purchase. The pixel receives these actions, or events, which you can view on your Facebook pixel page in Events Manager. From there, you'll be able to see the actions that your customers take. You'll also have options to reach those customers again through future Facebook ads.

If you scroll up and look at the thread you'll see who I am. I answered someone else's question. I own a digital marketing agency that specializes in HVAC. But I didn't self-promote or put any link because I'm not trying to be spammy and fake. I'm actually trying to help people out. WS brother although you really didn't seem very friendly when you said it. No hate though, I understand marketers and advertising can seem spammy, and some are. But the industry itself is not and the results I've gotten for others isn't either. And I wanted to shed some light on that in these spaces.

Good work. We just responsed because the post felt out of place. I also gave salaam bc I saw your name. Lolll, we have professional side that discusses about advertising in the hvac industry. Not sure if you can get access to that without being a professional member.
-
Thanks man! And yea no problem, that's why I didn't want to respond to you with any disrepect. I know stuff like this can seem spammy. Yes, I am 100% Muslim lol so appreciate the salam!
