    Confused Benchmark Aerco Boilers vs. Lochinvar Crest or Outdoor Knight Boiler

    Maybe I just couldn't find the post, but does anyone have opinions on the quality, reliability, etc. of the Benchmark Aerco boilers vs. the Lochinvar Crest or Knight Boiler? I believe these are all hot water condensing boilers. We have not been very happy with the AM 399 Aerco boiler, but it is my understanding that this is not a true Aerco boiler. Thank you.

    In general Im not a fan of Aerco. Parts and maintenance kits are expensive, support is generally not the best, and locally nobody stocks parts.

    Look at PVI. Seems like good equipment. Would have bought three of them except the owner's son said Rinnai was the one to use... NOT.
