Fluke T6-1000 PRO anyone got one

Saw Fluke T6-1000 PRO at wholesale house. Anybody got one? Got TRMS and supposed to do non contact volt and current. Like T6 pro but 116 can flame test and do microamps. Better just keep using 116 and grab 323 or 324? Or is T6 PRO good HVAC meter? Trying to get on service side here.

Got a old T5 600 but use my 116 more. Service guys here like 116, 324/325, and Kleins. Boss man has older 87 kit with clamps.

This is not a true contactless meter, you have to ground one lead before it will detect voltage.

Get the Fluke 902 FC. It does dc uA and pretty much everything else you need for HVAC.

I like the amperage resolution the 324 offers. Good accuracy also.

The nice thing about this meter is the low impedance while checking volts.

Most meters use a high impedance when checking voltage. Usually 1-10million. The t1000 uses 3k ohms i believe.

A low impedance scale while checking volts eliminates any ghost voltage.

I also use it for checking triacs. I have heard a low impedance meter will damage triacs, but i do not recall ever smoking one that wasn't already smoked

    I carry the 324 Plus

The only thing I wish it had was Mirco amps

I also have Fieldpiece SC260 which is pretty much the same meter

Wish I bought the SC440 because it has micro amps ...

    324 ‘plus’?
    What does the plus add?

I only bought the Plus because it was on sale

Im not really sure the difference , but I think the OHMs have a broader range ?

Whats annoying is ... when I need to check Millivolts I need my cheap craftsman meter

But thats not very often ....

If I remember correctly the input impedance of the 902 FC is also 3000 ohms. I’ll try and check it when I get a chance.

Well I broke down and did the google thing. Looks like it is basically the 325 but called the 324 Plus?

The accuracy appears to be in line with the 325 when I look at the specs Fluke provides, and since it does DC amps I’m guessing it’s renamed for some reason. I wonder the price comparison between the 324 and 324 Plus. I’ll have to check later.

Look at the Fieldpiece SC440 if you check millivolts often

I come across thermopiles with the 2 leads 750mv
