Maybe I should just paint the bottom with like 25 layers of mastic

Klein makes a little bucket bag I really liked and used as my service bag for years. The only down side was not having a means to close the top.
This is essentially it, but it used to have a shoulder strap.
I eventually wore it out, and now I use it as my soldering materials kit.

Hmmm that does look pretty nice. Although it looks like it’s bigger. As far as storage I did like the tech mc and everything about it was perfect but it was just a little too big.

It is bigger then the little bag you have. Its close in size to the mc bag, but its lighter.
Im not saying to jump and buy it, but it was a good diagnostic bag.
The one I had did not have a ton of pockets on the inside, so it was good for putting the meters and drill into the bag, and then a few tools on the outside pockets. I’ll see it they still have the one Im talking about.

I've been using this one for a couple of years now.
Other than busting a shoulder strap adjusting clip because it got stuck on a ladder it's been rock solid

You don't squat with your spurs on.
And you NEVER put the torches away before pressure testing.

A guy at my old company did that. He was an installer and really liked using it in attics as well. It’s a good idea for sure!
