No flame, 4 flashes, high limit switch replaced, dirty filters, inductor motor replac

Hitting the hay and figured to ask one late night question. When the inductor gas exhaust vent is removed, the furnace fires and runs fine, but as soon as the exhaust vent is installed 4 flashes and then off.

How many times have you had to clean out the cap on the roof of bees/birds nests? Going to check in the morning, but thought I'd throw it out there and ask.

If its not the exhaust pipe plugged and there is no blockage in the fresh air input, we swapped out the inductor fan motor assembly, ignitor, probe, high limit switch on the blower housing.

rubber tube that goes from pressure switch to draft blower

take hose off switch ... put hose in mouth and see if you can blow into blower housing

sometimes the little "hose fitting" on the housing gets clogged and wont let air pass

Ive taken a tiny drill bit and got it free ( I have really small bits for orifices )

Check the flue for birds too ....

Let’s remember this is the AOP section. If OP is a technician then he should be posting in the technician section. I do not know if I believe OP is a technician, parts appear to being changed randomly and a 4 flash error code differs between manufacturers. Please call a technician if you are a homeowner.

The terms he uses indicate he is not a technician even though his profile states that he is. No measurements provided, just changing parts.

    Ok, please explain.

The inductor (your term) runs yet you replaced it.

The ignitor works, yet you replaced it.

The Probe, I assume flame sensor worked, yet you replaced it.

There was no indication of an issue of over heating yet you replaced the limit switch on the blower.

    WHY?????

You said it fired with the vent pipe off, does this have an intake pipe? If it does, did you try removing that?

You replaced the high limit on the blower what about the other limit switches?

Did you check the HX for leakage?
