Cvhf with (negative) -63F evap approach. Help!

First time posting here. I have a CVHF570. I'm having trouble making sense of this -63F evap approach temp. Set point is 42F. Evap leaving is 41.9F. Entering is 44.4F (I know my delta is to close). Sat refrigerant temp is 105.7F and evap pressure is 8.5psig. I CAN NOT MAKE SENSE OF THIS FOR SOME REASON. I know I'm missing something somewhere.

the math is correct for R123. clearly, your temperature sensor is faulty. i recommend calling a qualified contractor to take care of your machine.

Time out. Maybe I should of worded it better. I needed help to verify it's my temp sensor. I am a professional and I know what I'm doing. I've got 15 yrs doing this, with the last 3 yrs on low pressure machines. I'm still learning. Try not to bust my chops to bad guys.

Right! I've done the math. I was just having a hard time convincing myself it's a temp sensor. I dont know why. The obvious ones are the ones I always try to prove to not be the problem. I dont know why I do that. But thanks for helping me in a assuming way.

Ha! Yeah, no. I'm not sure 42 degree condenser water is even possible down here where I'm at.

Saturated temp and pressure are condenser.
    41.9 & 44.4 are evap

If R-123 evap should be in vac with sat <40

It was my sat evap sensor. Like I said I dont know why I even second guessed myself. Thanks all for making me feel dumb lol. Yeah chillrdude definitely the adaptive view was bad too. Good thing I've done a few tu upgrades in my past. But hey there's always a know it all in every bunch they say. Keep up that sarcasm, that stuff really helps to build confidence in the guys still learning.

I do what I can, I'll be here all week. My comment had to with the sensor needing to be bound to the controller and not plug and play which leads to the always fun TU software debate that rages here forever (right Healey) anyway you come on here with your first post and ask a question that makes you sound like a building maintenance man then get butt hurt when we question your level of experience, at least you clarified that you have a whole 3 years doing low pressure chillers and TU upgrades, welcome to the forum.

Lol what gave it away. Not any more. I made the wonderous decision to leave and go to JCI. Not a bad gig. The local here isn't what it is north of here. But still ok.

I realized once the replies came in, how it sounded and looked. No hard feelings this way. 3 years isn't a lot when it comes to most. Screws, recips, and the god awful scroll machines is my strong point. Centrifugal mechanics are the 1%ers lol. I'm getting there. I'll trade my plethora of knowledge about york machines for centrifugal as needed. Not saying much I know but hey I'm here for you guys if needed too. Butt doesn't hurt anymore now. Chillrdude I'll buy you a beer next time.
