    Smile effect of condenser flow rate on chiller performance

    Can someone tell effect of condenser flow rate on chiller performance? what if flow is reduced 2/3 times? or 1/2 times? how will be cop effected?

    Assuming the chiller evaporator load is not changing, the condenser DT will be proportional to the flow rate causing an increase in discharge pressure and reductions in capacity & efficiency. Very minimal affect on approach until you reach the point of laminar flow.
