Black Heads Matter
Another remote install on an island. First time installing Mitsubishi black mini-splits. Customer wanted units to match his window frames.

Never saw that before. The corners are beyond a dead give away.
A shame you can't get the indoor unit in almond, so it doesn't stick out so much. I think white would've been better. Maybe you can vinyl wrap it...lol
Your work looks good!

Ive always wanted to find a place for something besides white... Either way I still believe that these units arent noticed until they are neglected and quit working lol. Good looking job though!

do the black head units cost more or the same as the normal white ones

Looks good. Wall of pride job.
Only thing I see is that around here the disconnect needs to be above the outdoor unit. The explanation I got was that it needs to be easily identified as the disconnect for the unit. Dumb, I know. But that is the silly code around here. May not apply to your area.

Google "Old Kentucky Logs". Cast concrete log siding that has dovetailed ends. Actually looks nice. At least in the pics.

Here, we need to be above the normal snow level. I’ve never heard of a disconnect height requirement. It sounds like a dumb rule. You would think the grey seal-tite that runs from the disconnect to the heat pump would be a dead giveaway.

Hey we have to accommodate total morons. Some of them pretend to be HVAC pros.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.
