    Most uncomplicated Tstat

I saw there was a thread on the Most Complicated Tstat. OK, what is the most easy to use Tstat for a heat pump with aux heat? Does not need to be programable.

    If you can find one...

    The Honeywell 3200 series...
    (non-programmable)

Just set it... that is all...

I really like the honeywell 5000. Non-programmable, they are built like a tank and seem to last forever.

A honeywell T4 is very simple and they make a 2-stage heat pump model. You could set it up as a Non programable t-stat. If you can spend a little more you could get a T-6 and that one will accept a wired outdoor temp sensor and minimize the usage of your backup heaters. Again it can also be set up as a non-programable

The simplest? Wire it to a wall switch.

Three contractor (fixed) thermostats and a relay, you’ll never have to set the temperature again!

For real though, T4 or Aprilaire 8446.

Emerson 80 series heatpump tstat none program... I can install them in under 10 mins. They look nice with a 4.5" display screen and they are very reliable.
