    Commercial WeilMclain

I have a brand new WeilMclain 4 section cast iron 240,000MBH and the pilot will light but the gas valve chatters when it rectifies flame then shuts off. This is a commercial boiler in a residential setting. I have confirmed my gas pressures are within range. Is this a bad valve out of the box? Poor burner ground? Or control issue? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Keep in mind, this boiler ran fine with no issue for 2 weeks before the chatter started

Do you have a solid 24v at the valve when it opens?

What is factory spec for the manifold gas press? 3.2? 3.5? Was the gas press verified during startup and run?

I am the service tech as well as the installer. I found that the zone board was replaced by another company the previous year and when all zones called I would lose 24v intermittently to the valve due to an undersized transformer. Thanks to everyone for their input and guidance
