I have a friend who just had their entire heat pump replaced, I told them to insist they do a Nitrogen Bleed the full time the outdoor and indoor units were torched up. The company said they would do that, but on installation they didn’t. The installer guy said it wasn’t needed, there was already inert gas in the line. BTW I looked his name up, no license on file in MD, DC or VA. Company has a MD license. That’s Two strikes against them. Would love to out them, but don’t feel like getting sued.

I for see an expansion valve or filter drier plugging up the day after warranty expires.

I dont understand why they would skip that. It didnt save them any time in the grand scheme of things. Let the owner deal with the "contractor"
