Strange Air Conditioner - Help Identifying?
Hello, I am new here. There is are two HVAC units near me that I cannot identify. I tried getting close to them but no brand name was eligible. There are two units, two fans each. They are large, probably taller than me. I am new and cannot figure out how to attach a photo... so I ask that you search "28 Priory Lane, Pelham, New York" on Zillow. There are clear pictures of the units. If you cannot find it, tell me and I will help.
Thank you in advance!

I have no idea. The general shape is of the old Luxaire/Moncrief slant front units but they didn't have round fan grilles and these are taller. Also the house is much too new to have those relics.
Are they the home A/Cs or maybe a system for the indoor pool hot tub room?

I can't be sure, but the only other HVAC system for the house is a Mitsubishi Ductless, I believe. The pool and hot tub are quite small and I doubt these large units only heat that. I've also heard them running recently.

I was actually able to get fairly close to them today, but could not read the brand name.. I did not see one.

I take it this is not your house, if not then why the interest ?, If your just curious walk up to the front door and ask the home owner to let you take a look to satisfy your interest, unless your the neighborhood busybody or creeper they should not have a problem if that is all your truly interested in, the way your your going about it seems kind of odd sneaking up to get a peek at someones AC Units kinda like a stalker

I got a camera with a 600x optical zoom and 1200 digital zoom. I was curious what label Mexican builder model was put on some apartments built overlooking our junk pile. Closest I could get was a parking ramp a block away. I zoomed into that sucker and the blue oval was clear as day. Thought maybe it was ICP cuz I found an ICP air handler box outside.

Yeah... I just take it somebody would find it strange if some guy walked up to their house asking to take a look at AC units... and actually lots of HVAC YouTubers often record without the homeowner's consent.

If I need to do this, I just sit in my car in the street and fire up the long zoom. One way or another, ya gotta find out. You have my curiosity up!

I saw units that were similar, with one fan in Kentucky on Town Houses. I moved a Daughter to that town, at the end of May. I too wondered who’s units they were. She didn’t move into one of those units, too expensive. Nice looking Townhouses, with one and two car garages. Also I wondered why they would put three units on each end of a six unit complex. Why not in the backyards?? Also they had Gas heat, based on the gas meters. Condensing Units were an off white, and appeared to be made from a Plastic material.

Well its even stranger for someone to be caught lurking around someones house whether it be daylight or not for no good reason and I would be wary of cameras recording you sneaking around, there is a big difference between a HVAC You Tuber recording a unit they are working on then someone casually hiding out in the bushes to get a peek at an AC, nothing else use the lost dog approach at least that way you won't find yourself locked up for being a peeking tom

Here's my street at normal shooting and then zoomed in on his heat pump so one could tell the brand. And I'm so far away, nobody would pay any attention to me and they probably couldn't tell I have a camera. I know, this day & age gotta be careful.

Yeah, the problem with me zooming in with a camera is that they are on a hill and only the top half is visible...

Haha, the problem with me zooming in is that the units are on a hill and only the top half is visible. There is no logo that I can read.. not even with my close vantage point. If somebody else could find out that would be great, but I'm not sure what to do... I feel awkward knocking on the door.

Yes, those units fit the description of the units near me. If you could get close that would be great...

Most definitely not the Luxaire units... I have a feeling these are VRF units. Ducted, of course...

Oh no... I mean YouTubers like Vann Berg and Andrew Brandish who just record units for the heck of it.

There is a very small patch of woods between that house and the next house. Also, I actually asked my dad about it and he told me people would think I was weird. I mean, a 16 year old kid walking up to a house and asking to see the HVAC is kinda strange, no? It's better to be unnoticeable.

hmm and a 16 yr old kid getting busted in the woods between 2 house's neither of which belong to your family allegedly spying on 2 ac units is not considered weird or illegal lol, If you had done your due diligence 2 days ago you would have had your answer.
