    Building Automation Roles - Columbus, Ohio

    I work for a large mechanical contractor that has been performing commercial/ industrial HVAC work since 1927. We have been doing building automation work at large commercial/ industrial sites since the early 1990s. We are looking to increase our horsepower, and expand our building automation department with qualified people who believe in quality work, having satisfied customers, and enjoy a challenging environment with opportunities to grow. We are interested in interviewing for multiple positions, so please send me a private message if you're interested in a specific position. We are always looking to strengthen our team across the board.

    We are currently seeking qualified and motivated building automation technicians, programmers, engineers, sales engineers, etc to design, install, estimate, service, and startup/ commission building automation systems for HVAC/ lighting/ metering systems. A person with experience on multiple platforms is a plus. Our company invests money into sending qualified individuals to factory training on all of our product offerings. We are looking for the following skills:

    • Niagara AX/ Niagara 4 certification
    • Strong computer skills, and networking/ IT fundamentals
    • Graphical/ block programming experience is preferred
    • Strong understanding of HVAC controls and HVAC equipment
    • Understanding of how to read/ interpret specifications and sequences of operation provided by engineering firms
    • Understanding of BACnet and Lonworks protocols
    • Ability to conduct owner's training sessions with customers.
    • Ability to read low voltage wiring diagrams, and control wiring detail pages


    Some of our general requirements are listed below:

    • 3-5 years minimum experience working on building automation systems
    • High School Diploma
    • For engineering positions a college education is preferred
    • For technician related positions, electrical experience is required
    • Valid drivers license
    • Possess strong organizational, and communication skills; both written and verbal.
