Local HW dealer / hacks that seemly do this type of crap on every install. Think I had another picture here where these same bozos had 110 or 277ac on low voltage cable in their control panel and free air around in the ceiling.

All that BS is for a MCC that's sitting about 2' away. Could have put them in the top or down the sides, saving an enclosure and making it a hell of a lot easier to deal with. Use din rail relays and put them in the starter buckets. Must be a box and a half of wire nuts in this abortion.

    LOL!! that's awesome!!!

last one I did was a 4x4 standard depth utility box with 6 of them connected to it....you couldn't even get the cover all the way on it.

Took me about an hour and all the curse words known to man, to get that prettied up!!

Wish RIB came in a ice cube style format. Much neater wiring than the pig tails and easier to service too.

    Pretty much what this entailed.

I don't get it. Its more time an labor to do this BS than just about any other option they had. The whole install is nothing but 8 conductor cables with 2/4 conductor cables spliced in all over. A pair at the controller is spliced half dozen times, switching colors at every opportunity, before its at its final destination. Service...total nightmare. How anyone thinks installing stuff like that saves money is beyond me.

You do know that you can put an extended-box on over the standard box, right?

Wait until you see one three or four extended-boxes deep. <g>

Test bench, I needed a couple more lighting zones to duplicate a situation on a customer site in the office.

I hope it's all low voltage.
