    I am truly confused. Weve owned this home for four years. I thought the only air filter that needs to be changed is the one on the ceiling

    There is? That’s news to us. We tried to look for one and it doesn’t look like there is another one

    Its the factory filter access. Apparently you have a filter grill so no filter should be in the unit. Still bad practice blocking it.

    I just checked with my sister who lives down the street in same subdivision. All of these homes were built by same builder and hvac all installed the same. She said there is no filter that needs to be changed in the attic. They only change the one on the ceiling like us.
