    i apologize...i was shooting from the hip a bit and thinking of Refrigerant Flow Rate instead of COP. you are correct that you don't need the enthalpies to determine COP.
    "Right" is not the same as "Wise".

    Don't step on my favorite part of the Constitution just to point out your favorite part.

    Just because you can measure it, doesn't mean it is important. Just because you can't measure it, doesn't mean it isn't important.

    Obviously improving conditions such as cooler tower water will increase efficiency of refrigeration and chiller output. Im glad I have finally got my head around this calculation , thanks all.
    Keep it simple to keep it cool!
