Sweet, one of the new collaboration units from Mitsu.
Hoping it goes better then Trane/Samsung did.
A bunch of the schools down here are doing similar things with water source VRF.

Yup, that’s how the Trane-Sung units were. Peel off the Samsung logo and put a Trane one in its place. Except they didn’t do great things together.

Looks nice. Have you had any problems with the white linesets leaking from formicary corrosion? I have read some have had problems and it seems sometimes the foam is acidic.
Makes me leery of using it which is a shame because it looks so good.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

No. But, the tubing had a foul smell while purging N2. Almost like a carcinogen smell. Hope we don't have issues

Looks like a fun project. I went to an old class on this type system about 10 years ago. Surely I would want a refresher before tackling it now?

Very nice! Nice to see a DP switch across the unit, I wish everyone did this.

Just out of curiosity, how thick is the insulation on the line sets? We've been having an internal debate about the value of insulation on the vapor line during heating mode.
