    Wuhan flu vs Mexico

Just curious as to why Mexico is doing virtually nothing to stop the spread of the virus, and it is not spreading exponentially as the talking heads claim it will if the U.S. doesn't close up shop. Mexico should have millions (I pray not) die if the "models" are anywhere near accurate. I don't discount the awful toll it is taking on our own people, but something just doesn't add up.

There are random reports (not in the MsM, because it does not fit their agenda)...
That Mexico is closing the border to keep the WuFlu on our side...

    Here is a thought:
The Hispanic folks do not have near the quality of healthcare we have...
Yet they seem to do just fine.
Wonder if their immune systems work better than ours do???
After all... they do not depend on drugs, they depend on their bodies... to fight illnesses.

Because it is hotter down there? Some talk that the "regular" flu dies out in our summer, and it does. Some talk about this Kung Fu Flu dying out once the warmer weather comes back to the USA.

Ever drink the water down there and end up with diarrhea ?
Yet the locals drink away with no adverse effects.
Think there might be something to that ?

There are a couple of sound reason why Mexico doesn't appear to be hard hit with COVID-19.

First, their first reported case didn't appear until about a month after the first reports in the US. Today, Mexico has about 1000 reported cases. The US today has a total of 140,000 whereas a month ago it had only 30.

Another factor is that Mexico didn't start closing down until about a week ago and still, they're holding back on shutting down everything because 60% of their people are "informal" workers who are basically working off the books and would have no means of income to buy food.

The way I see it, the larger cities like Mexico City will likely reflect what's going on in NYC (or worse), only about a month or so later.

As for the summer heat, I am in a suburb of the Corona virus epicenter in this country, Guayaquil. which is on the Pacific coast with daily high temps since January averaging 90F and low 70's at night. Guayaquil, a city of 4 million, currently has 71% of the reported cases in the entire country of 14 million people with about 2000 total cases.

The capital, Quito, has the same population count, but only 191 cases today. Their daily temps have been around 65F, so I don't see that the warm temperatures are helping my area at all.

    YUP...

This is thinking outside the box...
Something, IMO, the progressive crowd is not really very good at...

    Another thing...
Ever get a head cold, go out and eat Mexican (including the hottest hot salza you can stomach)...
And the head cold is GONE tomorrow when you wake up...

Being dependent on the medical system... is a mixed blessing...
Which does not always guarantee a healthy life.

How is it possible that Mexico got their first case over a month later than the U.S. ? There are (were) regular flights from Mexico to Wuhan, and other Asian destinations well after the outbreak. I'm thinking they had cases about as soon as the U.S., they just didn't get reported; if so, why are the numbers still so low. I think their is something sinister going on besides the virus, just can make sense of it all.

IMO... we might want to be careful of believing modeling numbers...

    After all... there are:
    Lies, d*mn lines, and statistics...
And modeling is just a fancy word for statistics...

Anyone think there is a difference between statistics and polls???

Maybe I shouldn't have used the word sinister, but there a lot of things that just don't add up about the whole pandemic.

    How about political...

After all... it does not take much research (googling)...
To find endless stories of polecats that pass laws that are outright destructive to the masses, yet line the pockets of the polecats!

What is sad... is the folks that keep voting for these folks that take advantage of them.

Yep, like Black folks in lockstep with demon crates who keep funding planned parenthood to slaughter their children.
