    Quietest portable air conditioner?

I've been looking everywhere (in canada) and i cannot find anything quieter than 55db. Our townhome is not allowed a regular AC or mini split as it will be visible outside and or noisy etc.

I found this, but i hear complaints about the dual inverter whining sound. This one supposedly goes down to 46db.

So what do they have for A/C currently besides portables?

To me 2 6" tubes in the window is unacceptable! Plus its a Security issue.

I currently have 2 portable AC's. One in the bedrooom that is 1 hose and another one on the main floor. The main floor window only opens up as far as the hose is wide. I made it so you cannot physically open it any further from the outside.

So you bought a condo WITHOUT A/C?

    What's in the other units?
