    Is this drain termination to code?

    I have NEVER seen this before....

    2 year old home and the HP AHU has a running trap just off the unit.
    Then the PVC drain runs to here....

    Twice the inside diameter above the drain.
    Running trap? What’s the static pressure? Positive or negative pressure on the trap?

    All in all it works.

    Isn’t that for potable water
    Honeywell you can buy better but you cant pay more

    That's all ive ever followed. with the possible exceptions of ice bins where you don't have the height

    Wow! No crawl space to see if pvc continues..? But I guess it better than being drilled through the exterior wall and dripping down the siding or tapped into a plumbing stack! I wished I still had that picture from years ago..they drilled into it and siliconed it into place. Problem was during the heat mode the water evaporated and pulled in the sewer gasses(methane) the whole house stunk really bad..lol
