    unresponsive touchscreen

    Hi there.
We had an issue on MV7-PLUS microprocessor controller touchscreen for multistack oil free chiller. Lately we can not shut off the chiller through the touchscreen. if you push the OFF button there is no reaction. What would be the complication on the chiller when using emergency stop button.

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the communication cable from the controller to the touchscreen controller? We have daikin units that looss communication between the two that cause the touch screen to become unresponsive but the unit still works normally. For what ever reason even cycling power won't reestablish communication between the two. Only disconnecting and reconnecting the cable re-initializes the comm. We havent been able to find the cause but suspect it is momentary power loses in the building.

Looks like you've asked this question in another post on here. If the system switch in the top right corner is not shutting down the chiller locally, then have the Rep reprogram it's function to allow it. Our local rep made this adjustment when we converted the chiller over from Comms Control to Hardwired and Building Engineer wanted to be able to shut down the chiller locally for service by tapping on the System Switch on the screen instead of having to log into the BMS system and shut it down that way.
