    That's my kind of burger - looks like a smashburger with lots of onions and cheese :-)

    I got an onion burger yesterday at a really popular restaurant and when I finally got my burger after an hour it was very disappointing. Restaurants just can't compare.

    Attempting them on the grill right now. Just thru a pork shoulder on the smoker as well.

    Similar to a patty melt. Followed your instructions except adding mozzarella cheeese, the store was out of swiss.

    I must say I love the idea of putting the burgers on bread. I feel that the meat juice meddles all too well with it. Buns can sometimes stop the flavors whereas bread should just drink it up and as a results it also tastes like meat. I am definitely doing those next weekend.
