    Trane Rover

I'm using Rover to configure a LCI-R board. I keep getting a diagnostic " ign2 comms timed out". I'm not sure what it means or why its popping up.

Unit have gas heat? Thought that was something to do with ignition board not talking to main controller.

What version is the RTRM? If I remember correctly the firmware in the new LCI and BCI boards glitches with RTRMs version 16 and older. The version they come with has backwards compatibility issues and require the RTRM to be replaced as well. Comparability issues include comm instability and nuisance alarms including ign alarms.

Not sure have to double check, but what are ign alarms?

Not entirely positive but it would be the ignition board losing Comm on the Modbus with RTRM. Even though your electric the ign alarms are still systematic of the compatibility issue.
