People are losing their damn minds!

apparently, today, all the stores were getting bought out of all the food....grocery shelves are empty, people are stocking up on anything and everything, like the end of the world has arrived.

all the schools have been closed for 4 weeks, public buildings are being shut down, people are canceling any event possible, etc. etc.

and we don't have any confirmed cases in our state......

through all of human history, one thing has always been true....follow the money........I think someone has created a Fire Sale!

it is a question of time before looting starts on some level, I will continue being a spectator or hope to avoid idiots as my fuse keeps getting shorter with age.

It’s pretty nuts in PA/Philly area. Can’t do any regular food shopping. Restaurants are easy to get into.
If I do a job in 30 minutes it's because I spent 30 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.

I walked into and right out of 12 stores today trying to locate some friggin doodoo paper. All registers open lines minimum 10-15 people. Finally I went to a restaurant supply store that still had no paper but 2-3 people in line so I did some grocery shopping Costco style. I'm good for a bit.... ya know.. other than the paper i/we set out for.

I was at the depot earlier and in 20 minutes they had sold nearly 2 pallets of water. Amazing how stupid people can be. I half thought about walking up and coughing on the pallet then sitting back to enjoy the show.

just goes to show how fragile civilized society actually is. Panic sets in, and it all falls apart in 10 minutes.

years ago, our local water plant got shut down. within 45 minutes, people were literally running into stores, grabbing water and running out. you couldn't buy any water within 100 miles.

we've had over 6,000 deaths from the common flu in the last year.....something that kills people of all ages, and states of health. we've had what, 40 some people die of corona virus?...26 of them in the same facility. and it's only killing older people, or people with immune problems.......sheesh.....

I've refused to cancel our daughter's B-day party, even though half the people canceled cause they're terrified of dying....freakin idiots.

Figured I do my shopping this morning before the masses showed up. Got to wally world at 5:30. 100 cars in the parking lot and the shelves are bare. Was able to at least get some pet food and apples. That should hold me over for a week.

We just went to the store. It’s fascinating what people have wiped out.

All the paper towels and toilet paper are gone. All the bottled water is gone. All the fresh meat cases are wiped out.....but everything else is pretty much normal.

Then I go to Lowe’s and they have 2 pallets of water at the registers......weird.
