    Carrier 38aks

    A upgrade.

    New compressor. New electric unloaders. Bullheaded liquid lines. All new wiring. New HGBP

    Some before and afters.

    Neat. That’s a lot of retrofitting in that condenser. Why? Was there some problem to be solved with the operation?

    Change it much more and it’ll be a 38APS...

    Also, why with the pressure switches and extra relays, wire and electric unloaders? Way too much stuff to go wrong.

    Suction unloaders would have served the same purpose, with only 2 components

    They are electric suction cutoff. Some people aren't qualified to adjust mechanical unloaders. Even though they are simple. So i made everything fool proof for the next guy.
