I would get your meter calibrated or just send it in to fieldpiece. You'll probably get a brand new meter sent back to you.

Today I went on a service call nest Tstat blank, used my HS36 to check for 24 and I was getting 25-27 so I thought I had a bad Tstat switched with new still nothing. Double checked with a different meter HS35 and was showing me no volts and found a bad transformer. My HS36 reads high voltage fine but when checking low voltage I cant trust it and also when I pull my leads off it shows random voltages. Is my HS36 meter going bad. Also I just put new batteries in it yesterday. Thank you for your help new to hvac-talk and 3 years in the trade
