No led light and furnace shutting down

Hi, so a 4 year old Armstrong air model a93 converted to propane is just starting to give an issue. Furnace won't start up, had to reset the main breaker and it started up. But ran for about 15 mins than off again without reaching the normal room temp. It's still about 7 degrees Celsius from t stat set point. The led light that gives off the normal status or code status is not lit up at all. I've bypassed the t stat to confirm the nest t-stat isn't malfunctioning. I did just change the air filter. Also to note, it's the coldest days of the year so far here at around - 40 Celsius. This issue just started today.

Usually that light should be on steady or blinking.

If it's blinking, at what rate?

Is it blinking a fault code?

If it's off, then I would think issue is outside the furnace. Again, usually speaking.

If any of these are confusing or not understood, time to call for service.

I, too, highly dislike NEST stats!!!! They create too many issues.

Did you take the plastic wrapper off the filter? It has happened?

And Nest is a terrible thermostat.

No led light is present at all. After changing the air filter the furnace has been great all day. Any good alternate t stats as opposed to the nest? I like the wireless and internet connectivity of it. Thx.
