    That depends on a lot of factors. Vacation was pretty standard when I worked there (2 weeks vac, 1 week sick) that accumulates throughout the year. Benefits were so so, but I did come from a federal government job. What really mattered was management. I was great to have vacation, but if they call you in because of their poor planning it isn't that great.

    And that's why whenever I go on vacation I'm always out of the country. Turns out my company phone doesn't work in Belize or Zimbabwe. And I keep my personal phone number very private, too!

    So-so pay, decent benies and inept management.
    If you can put up with the slack mid-management making your job harder than it should be by offloading their responsibilities it's not a bad place to work. I was in engineering.
