    I've never used a D-TEK. The H-10 has been my go to leak detector for the last several decades.

    Recently purchased. H-10G blew up a couple or few months ago.

    But that's about when I bought my last H-10G.

    The H-10's have 3 sensitivity settings.

    Moving along it appears as though the H-10G may struggle in these situations although it does mention an LG range.

    Yeah, those were known issues. I learned from the school of hard knocks. That's the only place the H-10 failed. For example a large leak in an evaporator in a walk in. H-10 pretty useless in that situation.

    It's still a damn good detector overall. Probably one of the most expensive as well.
