Great work Gravity! Really enjoy seeing you’re posts on these small projects. I love the craftsmanship. That sort of stuff is what makes this job interesting to me.

So regarding your wiring diagrams, Ive typically drawn line diagrams, but I’ve noticed you typically draw pictorial diagrams to leave with the equipment. Does that just come more natural to you or is there another reason you specifically do pictorial diagrams like that?

Myself I just love the simplicity of a good ol line diagrams.

I have 3 more systems to do at this job. They all look terrible. I wish i took before pics of this one.

My brain just draws pictorial diagrams. I hand them to my apprentice and he looks at the diagram, looks at the unit, and within a minute he says "yup" its all there. I feel they are easier for people to read.

I can do and read all diagrams, my brain is wired differently. I have terrible OCD. Work van gets put away end of each day, clean the units, organize the job and material, etc...

That’s impressive dude. Nice work. I really like that you draw schematics for the next guy. But I have to ask... what’s up with the stat wires. It almost looks like you have (2) 18-3 wires going to one outdoor. Why not just run a 18-10 or 18-8 and have extra?.

There was an exisiting 8 conductor wire running outside. I couldn't change it. So i put a 4x4 box inside and junctiones it to the AHU with 2- 4conductor twisted sheild.

The thermostat needed more conductors. So i ran 3- 4 conductor twisted shield

I also junctioned it outside as well because the wire was breaking and brittle. So i ran it inside and out in liquid tite
