I've installed a handful, including a couple in my own house. I've had no issues with them. I like the redlink sensors.

Wireless, yes. Wifi, no. They don't rely on a wifi connection. They communicate directly with the tstat. You can give a remote sensor priority, average multiple sensors, or give sensors that see activity priority.

Honeywell Redlink is an FM signal....not a Wi-Fi signal.

Sensors are wireless Redlink. The thermostat is Wifi meaning there is an app and you can view/program them from anywhere. Honeywell/Resideo is currently offering a $50 rebate to the end user.
