    Hmm problem with carrier 58mvp not heating past 64 degrees

    hi I have a carrier 58 MVP gas heating /electric cooling, I replaced the thermostat but still set up at 75 but only heat up to 65. any suggestions

    Not enough info from here, is anything running in the furnace , any error codes? Might want to call for service, those are not very DIY friendly.

    We cannot offer diy advice here.
    But I will say that furnace was involved in a class action lawsuit for faulty heat exchangers.

    And some of the parts in it are expensive !

    thank you for your replied but the unit was working fine till last week then after replacing thermostat, it is set to 72 degrees but it will not run until gets to 61 and will stop at 64

    I would call the tech back that replaced the thermostat.
    Of course it may be a complete coincidence and you may actually have a problem.

    Angry carrier 8 MVP furnace heat will not past 65 degrees

    my home heater carrier 58 MVP will not heat the home past 65 degrees even though thermostat was replaced, any suggestions on what need to be replace.thank you

    This is the second thread on the same issue.
    In your other thread we advised on the heat exchanger problems that furnace has. We also advised we cannot give diy instruction here.
    Regardless you’ve given no diagnostic information to give any idea of what’s going on.

    Please for your safety get a qualified tech to properly troubleshoot the equipment, locate the problem and correct it!!
