Do you have the Evolution control? Is it the white vertical one with analog buttons or the touch screen control?

Do you have model and serial number of the furnace and control?

On the Carrier Infinity control there is an option to humidity with fan. This is in the advanced installer portion of the UI. This allows the humidifier to come on without a call for heat.

That seems kind of rude. Multiple times I stated I'm trying to avoid using a stand-alone humidistat. Yet every response is: a fan switch will work or a stand alone humidistat will work.

I was trying to save some time by asking "The Pros" before I dig into this issue more. It seems like a simple question that would result in a simple answer that addresses the question.

I guess I was wrong and will dig into the programming logic myself. Thanks all who took a stab at my question.

So all you can do is tell me it is possible, but won't give instructions?

I understand the liability. Could someone point me towards the best Bryant info databases?

By advanced installer UI do you mean the setup options you get from holding advanced for 10 seconds?

There was not an option for fan humidifier control on my controller in these menus. Is there more menus somewhere?

Engineers use resources. That's what this is supposed to be. I again am unsure why you feel the need to give attitude instead of advice.

    Not an attitude but opinion
    Outdoor reset controls readily available
    Fan sensors also available

Maybe Im thinking in too simple terms!

Saying you are not impressed by my intellect seems like an insult to me.

Are you paid to moderate or give advice on this website?

Or is this how you spend your Saturday's by choice.

Yes thats what I mean. I dont think that option is available on the vertical analog control.

If it were it would be under accessories>humidifier>humidify with fan.

You would have to update the control to the new touch control. There are a lot of great benefits of the new control along with that. Contact your local Bryant Dealer to get you set up with one.

Might be time to upgrade. I have been wanting Wifi control on the Bryant.

Thanks so much for your educated response and confirming my findings.
