    York Affinity YP9C

I have this York 5-ton unit with the corresponding johnson S1-TTSCC01 stat. I feel like the humidity sensor may be off. It always has a higher humidity than the set point I use (40%) and subsequently doesn't kick on the solenoid valve for the humidifier. What can I check as to the issue? Is there a way to check the humidity sensor? What am I missing?
