2 thermostats for 1 fan
hello.
I would want to run a ventilation fan in a small room at 1/2 speed all the time except between about 75 to 80 degrees where i want 1/1 speed, when the temperature exceeds this temperature, a separate cooling unit will kick in and the fan should go down to 1/2 speed again.
Can this be done with 2 thermostats in parallel to 1 transformer with 2 switches?
Edit: should be done in a easy way without PLC or DUC

We can’t provide DIY advice on how to do it but what you are asking to do sounds possible with one thermostat, one transformer, and some relays. The setup would differ depending on the wiring configuration that the motor requires.
In short, the answer is most likely yes.
What is PLC and DUC?

Logic controls. think "if/then and/or" type stuff. similar to building HVAC controls. just different forms of language.

It can be done easier with a multi speed fan and a relay and one tstat if I understand you correctly
Honeywell you can buy better but you cant pay more
I told my wife when i die to sell my fishing stuff for what its worth not what i told her i paid for it

That wouldn’t be necessary

I agree, I was just pointing out what plc controls were since you stated you had not heard of them before.
That is all
