Imperial now Diversitech- good or bad?

I’m opinionated about my tools- especially trade specific. Always held to the opinion imperial was king- no pun intended. JB not far behind. Now with Diversitech taking ownership local branch has ceased carrying even though they carry Diversitech products? not that I’ve ever had to buy the same imperial product twice- I’m just wondering the general consensus
