    Balancing Trane Com 4 VAVii

I'm trying to assist a balancer on a project and it's been a long time since I worked with Eware and Rover.
Rover does not seem to have a balancing tool for com 4 or 3 only com 5.
The site has a Jace with a com 4 driver and no other Trane equipment.
I'm wondering how the balancer can balance this relic.

Eware is difficult to work with even on an xp machine. Usually a hardware interrupt issue.

    I have both

    Any input

    Thank You

I think all the points you need are exposed to that third party driver but the likelyhood they are mapped is pretty low. You could likely pull them all in via discovery and do what you need to do inside the jace.

Would likely be much easier if you could get tranes tools to work though.

I have access to write to all the cfm settings and have full access to points, however no way to calibrate and set Kfactor.
Rover doesn't do it and Eware needs a DOS machine.

Rover is exactly what you need. In the config, there should be a k factor listed. Will be 1.0 default. You’ll enter the correction factor there. Also available through the JACE if the points were brought in and mapped as stated. We did an entire 4 story building like that through the JACE. Made the tab guys his own login and showed him how to drive and set data.
