Manitowoc Indigo - E02 Long Harvest

    Model: ID0322A-161X
    Mfg. Date: 1512

Customer called two weeks ago, said the unit stopped running over the weekend. They cleared the fault, reset the power and and the unit ran for another 6 days no issues, then stopped running once again.

I checked the fault history and it displayed Long Harvest , 999 Events.

The technician's handbook has this description for the fault:
E02 Long Harvest Long Harvest 3 consecutive - 3.5 Minute Harvests logs SL#2 in memory, but runs until 500 long harvest cycles occur.

I opened and closed the curtain many times and the Bin Switch checks out okay. The Curt SW1 input opens and closes consistently and the SL-2 light turns on and off when opening/closing the curtain.

    Some other observations:

The magnet on the curtain is intact and the surfaces are clean.
All waterside components are clean with good, even flow across the grid.
Cubes are proper shape and size and I measured very close to 1/8" bridge with a caliper.
Average Harvest time was 1:30 to 1:50, longest in history was 2 mins. I watched 3 full cycles and no issues during defrost.

For those of you who are familiar with these units, what direction should I be headed? An intermittent stuck bin switch, or a software/board issue?

It would be impossible to have 999 faults in that time frame, so something strange is going on here.

I would say it sounds like a board issue.
