Questions regarding different hp blower motor consuming power

On internet, this website displayed where a HVAC tech replaced a 1/3 hp blower by a 3/4 hp blower and owner started asking questions about power consumption tripling.

I saw numerous responses but none telling that same rpm higher hp motor will not triple current but current consumption will be almost same as work done is same.... Same blower, 115V supply, same rpm fir both motors. 3/4 Hp will have some unnoticeable higher power consumption but not 3 times.

    No Load...…..

the electrical energy will produce more heat and less work.

Add to that the extra starting torque will tear that squirrel cage to bits!
