    Armstrong PN 20 balancing question

I have a building full of the Armstrong PN 20 balancing valves, and I'm stumped as to what the hex head plug is used for on the side of the valve. Any ideas?

I have been out of the field for a while and have never seen this particular valve . I can find out on Monday from my sources. Let me know if you need me to do that .

I think the valves are DN20 (3/4") not PN20. I have been told 2 or 3 things about the plug but didn't know what to believe. I'll be watching brad to see what you find out. The most logical thing I was told is that the plug is access to one of the seat seals. I never pulled one to find out.
