Question Baseboard Heater + Infrared Heater

    Hi...

I currently have a wall-mounted Infrared heater which works great for my 16 x 24 portable (insulated) office. It's about to get super cold here in Texas and I don't want this thing having to work it's tail off to keep the place warm so am considering adding a baseboard heater to the mix. My questions:

    1. Are baseboard heaters generally safe under a desk? (up against the wall of course)
    2. My Infrared heater has a thermostat but I keep reading its bad to have two thermostats set at the same minimum temperature. Should I set one at 40 and the other at 30?

    Any recommendations appreciated.

    Thanks!

    T

Then the one set to 40 will do all the work.

Set one 2 degrees lower than the other.
